There are three TV series on Network Television that are based in Albuquerque.

In plain sight......USA network on wed. nights
Breaking Bad .....AMC network currently filming second season
Wild Fire ........ABC Family.......unknown if the series is going to continue.

Anyone know of any other series based in Albuquerque?

Well, the High School Musical movie trilogy took place in Albuquerque but was actually filmed in Salt Lake City.

Default Anthony Quinn in "The City" and / or "The Man in the City"

The City (1971) (TV)

I'm not sure if this was just a pilot or actually went into limited production.

Quinn was the mayor of Albuquerque.

Seems Victoria Principal had a short-lived series based here during the late 80's or there abouts.

Which is really lame. Why couldn't they film here if it was set here, anyway?

Another good reason for me to not watch it

Did anyone really like that series Breaking Bad? We were thinking about buying a season DVD, but haven't seen any of the episodes...

I'm not much of a TV watcher, but I caught a couple of episodes and I loved them. Not home enough to watch. The DVDs would be good.

Thanks loborick - we'll probably give it a shot. It'd even be worth it just to see some NM scenery...!
