Texas all the way... there Towanda, I'm in! Has anyone tried County Line (I think that's the name) out by Tramway? We passed it a while back and thought we'd give it a go.

Went to County Line once. It wasn't as bad as Dickie's but I don't think we'd go back.

Sogs - There is a Texas Roadhouse in ABQ.
I used to go to the one in Kansas, and they had pretty good ribs.

I've liked it, been going to it for about 15 years. It is actually a small chain, but they are all different. I have been to the San Antonio County Line a few times.

OK - we'll try most anything once. When we go, I'll let you know our impressions. We are so picky about our BBQ its almost silly. Went to my first TX Roadhouse just a few weeks ago in Denton, TX - it actually surprised me, we really liked it. Although we didn't try the BBQ our steaks were really good.

BBQ lovers can try LOTS of BBQ, this coming weekend out in Rio Rancho at the "Pork-N-Brew" event, located at the Santa Ana Star Center parking lot.
City Data folks stop by Porky's Pride booth and say hi!

Also, Mr. Powdrells at 5209 4th St NW is good. My favorite is Mad Max's in Rio Rancho but that is way out of your "within 5 miles of the Hyatt" request.

Thanks for the mention. "Porky's Pride" will re-open the first part of April at 6136 4th St NW, right in front of Sadie's.
