Boy how I remember those days or months. I am not as bad as many, Thank God.. but that didn't make me not feel sorry for myself while still in NM. Give it another 6 weeks if that long..then smile as you sit on your patio watching the beautiful sunsets..

I can't wait, I am going on a month of antibiotics because of course it causes a never ending sinus infection and sucking on mints to control the cough it can't come fast enough for me, I am beginning to rethink living in humidity

NM/Allergies
I've had people tell me that they are moving to NM because it's the best place to live if you have allergies! Sure doesn't sound like it to me.

Being new to NM, I had major allergy problems a few weeks ago. I went to The Herb Store and bought a small bottle (it's liquid) of Zone 6 which is specially modified for the US region we're in (UT, CO, AZ, and NM). It's supposed to help build immunity against 120 zone-specific plants, trees, and grasses. It really helped .. you might try it.

believe me, that is the biggest falicy in the world. It used to be said moving to NM,AZ or So Ca was the best (way back in the 40s) lets face it, depending on what you are allergic will determine what locale is best..NM isn't for anyone who has a problem with Juniper, ragweed or cedar just to mention a few pollens..It is dry so mold is rarely a problem.

I wonder if they were referring to allergic reactions to mold.

keep the CA state of mind out of NM, all the California people I have met here are stuck on themselves and their state,it is just so great there and you know the rest, blah blah blah.
of course not all Californians are like this but just the few that I have met.

Nita, I am totally serious about how the Albuquerque drivers are. My insurance rates, with the same company as in Sacramento CA, jumped by almost $40 per month, and the reason given? Because it's Albuquerque and the drivers are worse.
Also, there is quite an active Cuban community out here, from what I've seen. I wonder if anyone knows if there's a Cuban restaurant in town? And gee, okay, so maybe the info on tattoos was unnecessary, but I still it's pertinent information, as I'm seeing a lot of women with skin art, all ages, all social classes. But yeah, definitely get a lot of hand and body lotion, and be prepared to drink lots and lots and lots of water, otherwise you'll dehydrate.
