It's simple really. As you go through life you'll hear about (in random situations) certain cities or states that have more positive feedback than others. Colo.AZ,FL,NM. Denver,FT Myers, San Diego, and Albuquerque to name a few. If it seems more positive then more than likely it IS a good choice. People don't flock to live or vacation in crappy places. The rest...are details.
