Trifecta - I am really not a god person, but god bless you.

Good luck, and good luck to that little girl. She may have had some bad luck in her life, but she's really lucky to have you.

And, after speaking with their mother I am pleased to report that she was able to provide information to me that will pinpoint the location that this guy can be picked up at. So, I remain diligent in my fight for not only the little girl, but her brothers as well. I plan to get them some counseling ASAP, and have arranged for a forensic examination. I'll just avoid all of the family as long as possible, and hopefully stamp this little girls heart with love no matter what happens.

I have a pending application with Children, Youth and Families to be a foster parent. I think that once these children are no longer with me, it would be a great thing to help out other children in need of a family. Even if it is only temporary....
We were foster parents for many years; even though the day a child leaves is always a sad day for the foster family (well usually) it is a wonderful and rewarding experience.

I have a quick story I have to tell: We had one foster daughter for 3 years, from the time she was 13 until 16. Eventualy she was re-united with her mom, though we stayed in contact for many years and even were able to see each other from time to time we did loose touch back in 1982. to make this as short as possible, she made every attempt for 25 years to find us and after tracking us as far as NM she ran into a brick wall. Last Nov we got a call from a private detective that our foster daughter had hired. This coming Sun, which will be the day before my birthday we are having a family reunion in Late Tahoe. We talk on the phone almost weekly, she has a good life with a long time partner (which we will meet) and she has been successful. Now, she feels and we agree our lives will all be complete when she, her partner, us who she still calls mom and dad and our 2 daughters, plus their spouses will re-new our family ties: human interest story at it's best huh?
