NorthEast is a great area in spite of the commute. For some a 20 minute commute is long, others are used to 30 minutes to an hour.

If I was looking to spend between $800 and 1K a month for rent... could I get a nice apartment (for two people) or house on the Northeast side? any ideas or locations that I need to check out? Thanks, Ryan

I was spending $1,050 for a nice 3-bedroom near where
Juan Tabo and Eubank meet in the North.

There are lots of apartment communities in that area.

It's an easy commute to the base from there.

There are lots of stores within walking distance or just a couple
minutes drive. It's easy to take a bus to the base from there.
