glad you are getting some water, if you need more let us know, we will try to package some of ours up for you. The past week has been almost rain free, but we had it every day for about 2 weeks and now are going to get it again for another week. Happy May!!!

Nita

I'm loving it! The rain, I mean. At the beginning of this week I transplanted my indoor starts to my outdoor garden, and this weather is perfect! The sprouts are not frying in the sun, and are getting plenty of moisture. This could be my best garden ever.

Up in the Farmington area, it's been a steady off and on rain since Thursday. I'm not minding the gloom and grey. It's nice every once in a while. Nice comparison to the blazing heat and sun we see over 300 days a year here.

I'm about to do the same with a few more. I have not had to water in a few days. How nice.

Why the heck was it so hot in April? 2-3 days of near "normal" temperatures does not stand out to me like the 2-3 weeks of ~10+ degrees above normal that we had last month.

I'll take this rain and these temps when I can get 'em. After all, I'd hate to see all the cottonwoods and roadrunners die.

May '08 was also cooler than usual - that's two years in a row. If I remember right, the two years prior to that were warmer. If it were up to me, I'd take the cool wx in June.

I think I'm getting webs between my fingers. Yucky humidity.

Gee, Dorothy, I don't think we're in Albuquerque anymore!
