Well, if the money walking and talking, go ahead and have it done fully.

If you want to save $thousands$ you can't go wrong with a granite
carpet and just a couple of small starter plants. Pour a jug of water
on them once a week.

In another year, spend a few $hundred$ on some boulders.

If there's anything in the yard that can be salvaged, those established
plants are likely to be able to survive without any further care. Examples
might be a Cholla, Yucca or Prickly Pear cactus or some desert tree.

Pour a jug of water on them once a week and they will plump right up.

Take a walk on the open mesa in the early mornings and/or around
sunset. It won't take long for you to decide what kind of plants you
will want in your yard.

Also walk around the Nob Hill area for lots of other landscaping ideas.

Like I said earlier, I've done this and after a few years, no one will
ever know you didn't have it professionally done.

spottie is on a distinguished road
We did the HP move a couple of months ago - the vet we are using is Mesa Grande Animal Clinic located on Southern at Unser. I've only been there once so far, but the vet and staff seemed very nice and the dog liked them!

PS You don't even want to know how much those block fences cost. We have no neighbors and a half acre - we about died when we got a quote.
