Its amazing whats happened since Southwest Entered the market. First, it was just United for a really long time, and the fares (in the early 90's for goodness sake) were $550 bucks. Then Frontier comes a long, and the prices are lowered to about $300. Then Southwest shows up, and the southwest effect as they call it, and the fares come right around $100. Isn't it amazing!!!
