Welcome RRR. If you are in ABQ around Noon let me know, I get out of class at noon & would love to meet for lunch or drinks one evening if that works better.

Glad you made it safe & sound. Are you in Moriarty or Edgewood? I'm sure you said somewhere but for the life of me, I can't remember.

wow, you found Trader Joes, what I would give to have one here or somewhere near.

I just hope you continue to find your new home all you had hoped for.

Thanks for the recommendations for eats in Edgewood, Lisdol. We've eaten at Shortys, China.... something, it's a buffet, El Comedor and Blakes here in town. Santa Fe Grille in Santa Rosa yesterday. I'm gonna gain a bizillion pounds here!

They graded Western the other day and now I can drive it at forty or better comfortably. It sure was washboard hell the first day. I thought i'd see my horse trailer vibrate apart in front of me.

Sunflower as a possibilty for corn- check. I'm going to check at the Cedar Crest and Edgewood farmer's markets as well.

I had to fly back to TN Wednesday of this past week (yeah on my two week anniversary)- they discovered that my mother had a brain tumor on Monday and surgery was Wednesday. She did well and went home Saturday, believe it or not.

I should be making some trips to Abq next week, so we'll have to set up some lunches or coffees or something.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

Thanks, y'all. We know the type of tumor now- oligodendroglioma- and they'll be discussing further treatment Monday.

We talked about your stopping by the store, Jane and Greg said "I don't think i'll remember what she looks like." I told him you'd find him. Even though he was expecting you, it didn't occur to him who you were, lol!
