Default Digital Television Conversion set for 12 June 2009

Hello,

I wanted to know how people are anticipating concerning the conversion from analog signal to digital signal for television reception starting on June 12th. It's been delayed for a few months, but the conversion is finally going to happen.

I am aware that people who subscribe to cable or satellite services will not be affected; however, I am curious to hear what peoples' efforts have been to adjust to receiving (free) digital signals from over the air. Since most of the television towers are located on the Crest, television reception has never been much of an issue, but I am hoping that the transition to digital will not be too much of a fuss, especially in the era of free HD broadcasts - much better than paying a cable/satellite service if you ask me

Thanks in advance and I look forward to anyone's opinion and experiences in this regard...

We have two small HD TV's, right now they are on inside antennas, "Rabbit Ears" and a small "UHF Flat Grid Antenna hanging from a window" I get all the local HD channels very well and also some extra channels I could not get in the past.

I switched over months ago. Big improvement and Ch 9.1 and 9.2 from santa Fe are a nice addition. 9.1 and 9.2 are low power so you need a good signal
