I bought a TV today and my cable's getting hooked up tomorrow - so I'll have to vote Monday!

I did catch the late news on 13 - NOT impressed with the two anchors.

How about none of them! The local stations here are a joke...I was just spoiled living in PHX which has some very, very good local new stations.

I have been living in Albuquerque for almost 6 years and still can't differentiate between the different news stations. That said, my husband and I seem to have a special fondness for Mark Ronchetti's rosy cheeks.

I totally agree. I also can't get used to the fact that because so much of the state is rural and does not have its own newscast, most of what we see on "Albuquerque" news stations has nothing to do with Albuquerque.

I don't watch the local news anymore. I listen on the radio and read on the web. If I have to pick one though, I'd pick channel 4 or 7. Many of the anchors around here are has-beens and need to retire. These stations need some new young faces who can actually read a teleprompter.

Thats odd, because I always found myself highly unimpressed with the stations in the PHX metro. I guess different strokes for different folks.

New Mexico doesnt have as many people as Arizona there is a reason why we have strictly one newscast that happens in the studios here in Albuquerque.

The News here covers all of New Mexico, Not just Albuquerque. Most of the Time it is about Albuquerque. So I have no idea what you are watching.. Try different channels.. 4, 7 or 13. I prefer Eyewitness News 4.

I probably wouldnt think your talking about Channel 4?

Tom Joles is a legend! and nichole Brady is alright I really miss Carla Aragon and Larry Rice.

Action 7 News thinks they are the best with all their tech stuff and the studio crap. I like plain old fashioned news, Channel 4.

Channel 4, just for Steve Stucker. While I no longer live in Abq, I still remember his goofy shenanigans and how he loved to throw himself into the city. I kinda miss that enthusiasm in the midwest, even if it was occasionally embarrassing and awkward.
