You'll find that any summer day in Tucson is more comfortable
than any summer day in Florida (anywhere in FL).
It will start of comfortable and warmish in TUC vs sticky
and getting stickier in FL.
It will peak at hot, but tolerable in the shade. Cars will be
miserable places, but the a/c will actually make a difference
once it gets going. In FL, it will be miserable anywhere you
are unless you are in a building where the a/c is set to deep
freeze where you will shiver.
In the evening, you can sit out in the mostly mosquito and fly
free air and enjoy a drink or dinner outside while you have to
retreat to your "Florida Room" where it will still be miserably
sticky - even if all the huge bugs are stuck to the outside of
the screen.

k wingrove reported:
> Tucson Hotter...Albuquerque higher (5280 feet)
Actually, there are built areas in ABQ from 4950 ft at the river
(where Central crosses) to houses in the foothills at 6000 ft
and hundreds of feet higher.
Most of the NE heights is 5400 ft (+/- 400 ft) Rio Rancho is similar.
5280 ft is the exact measure of 1 mile.
Roughly, Phoenix is 1000 ft and Tucson is 2200 ft but places in
Tucson can vary +/- 200 ft from that. Las Cruces is about
1000 ft lower than Albuquerque.

I think that ajs was trying to say after living all that time in Florida she misses 4 seasons from somewhere she previously lived.
