Welcome to NM, you will love it. The area you are leaning towards is terrific. Just sold a home in Paradise Hills in a few short weeks on the market, its convenient to everything and the views of the mountain are terrific. Good Luck!

Presbyterian is located within walking distance of some of the best neighborhoods in Albuquerque and one of the best served areas to public transportation and you want to live in Paradise Hills?!?

Takes all kinds!

FYI, Nob Hill, UNM, Downtown, Huning Highlands (eDo) and the Alvarado transportation center (Bus hub and Rail Runner) are all within a 5-20 minute walk of Presbyterian.

Welcome to Albuquerque,

ABQConvict

I do ABQConvict. Just as I am sure you have your reasons for liking certain areas of ABQ and/or living where you are living... I have my reasons for liking what I like. To each his own I suppose. :-)

Congratulations on your move. We live in Ventana Ranch which is near the area you're considering (its west of Paradise Hills). I work at Kirtland AFB and it takes me 1/2 hour in the a.m. and p.m. for a commute. So your commute will improve. Good luck!

1/2 hour for the base is a bit low (45min + is more realistic)... unless you leave before the rush and return in the same fashion.
