Default Which mall is larger - Cottonwood Mall or Cornado Center?

I was wondering, does anyone know if Cottonwood Mall or Coronado Center is larger? Wikipedia says Cottonwood is the largest in the state, however, I have been to both malls and it seems to me that Coronado Center is larger. Yes, I know Cottonwood Mall is two stories throughout, however, I know that Coronado Center covers more land area.

However, Coronado Center now has two vacant anchor store areas - the old Macy's and Mervyn's are now vacant. Currently, the old Macy's location is owned by Target, however, Target plans on converting the store into a single-level store, subject to city approval. So far, there has been no construction nor has there been any announced opening date.

So, does anyone know which mall is truly larger?

Oh Macy's has gone?

Guess I don't go to the mall very often.

Cottonwood has its own theater, wouldn't that help to make it bigger? And they are including parking lot size, right?

Coronado Center is the Largest of the two with just under 1.2 million sq. feet, Cottonwood is just over 1 million sq. feet. Coronado also has more stores 150 to 135 for Cottonwood.

Wow, I was surprised to learn this! For some reason, I just assumed that Cottonwood was bigger AND had more stores. But then again, it's not like I took a measuring tape with me the last time I was there. Also, I can only count to twenty because then I'm out of fingers and toes. Therefore, you are a genius............compared to me

Thank you for the info!

For anyone who shops at Buckle, I will say this: The store at Cottonwood seems to have a greater selection of dress/long sleeve shirts than the one at Coronado. Weird but true I know--I even mentioned this to one of the workers and they agreed.

I look at Coronado, ABQ Uptown, and Winrock (what's left of it) as one large shopping area.
