Default nursing homes

Folks, I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a good nursing home in the Albuquerque area. My wife's grandmother is in her late 80's and has alzhiemers and parkinsons. She currently lives in a nursing home in Alton, IL, but we are considering moving her down here. We are semi new to ABQ and have no idea of homes and or costs. Any information would be greatly appreciated...thanks

You need specialized care for Alzheimer's patients. A friend of the family's relative ( aunt or great aunt ) was here New Mexico Alzheimer's and Dementia Care | The Cottages of Albuquerque
I would also see if her current home is part of some sort of network of facilities that accept Alzheimer's patients...with dementia related disorders you really need highly trained staff.

Check out Canyon Transitional if you don't need a locked unit. St. Joseph's if you do. Best of luck to you and yours.
