Default Thoughts on the Paul Allen Green Homes?

So if things do work out with the home we are going to put an offer on, we are considering looking into the Paul Allen Green Homes more. I did tour the homes when I was out there in July and was very impressed with all they had to offer.
I was just wondering if there was anyone here who owned one, knows someone who owns one, or who has heard anything about them besides what is on line.
The down side of it, is that we would have to rent for a few months while it is getting built and will have to move AGAIN. But.... we will be investing in an environmentally friendly home with energy efficient (and cost effective) appliances and capabilities.

Wouldn't a home that's already built be the true environmentally friendly option?

I was really keen to buy one, but the location is just far too crappy. My husband and I both work in Abq and there's no way I'm commuting from the West Side/RR every day. I'd only live there if I worked there.

But if it weren't for location, I'd buy the house in a heartbeat. Not a lot of character but a great price for the size, just the right amount of space we need.

We met both owners this weekend an were very impressed with everything they had to offer. I actually think a lot of the homes have great character. But that's just me. I was pleasantly surprised. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am LOVING ABQ/RR/Santa Fe
