Default high school ?

I know there are many threads regarding this. We will be renting if we move to ABQ. As far as I can see La Cueva district is out of our budget. what are you other top choices? Cibola, Del Norte or Eldorado. I will be working at Lovelace and I do not mind up to a 30 minute commute. I care more about my daughter going to a good school and living in a nice crime-free/safe area.

Sandia and Eldorado would be the "more affordable"/nice school districts you would probably want to aim for. Rio Rancho/Cibola/Volcano Vista would probably be worth consideration as well, but these could definitely stretch your 30 minute commute time, depending on what time you travel to work.

30 min from RR to Lovelace is not going to happen. 40 minimum.

I was showing houses in the La Cueva school district last night, one had a rental property on the street, 3 bed 2 bath, 2CG and was listed at $1250 month - if you can go an extra $50 you can get in the La Cueva school district.

I wouldn't waste your time with CL for rentals, just overpriced properties and scams.
