One of my favorite cultural quirks about Albuquerque is classic / custom cars. You don't go a week without seeing a pristine Model T or A, restored Chevy trucks, 1930's Packards (lowered is a plus), and a bunch of oddities like rare cars, trikes, VW Things (and a host of old VWs in general).

And if you don't see them on the street there are plenty in driveways sideyards and frontyards. Just a wonder ful site to see! I guess hording ole hunks of junk are a ABQ culture thing.
