We got lucky yesterday and the balloons went right over the house. My daughter and I then decided to head north on 528 to watch them land.

Her first balloon fiesta and she is very impressed.

So far this has been a good year as far as weather, and the winds have been bringing the balloons North.

Today they came over Rio Rancho and Bernalillo. The winds were a bit high so I know some pilots declined to not launch. We chased balloons and saw some pretty good ones, a close shot of the special shape, the beer mug.

We chased balloons starting at the North end of Corrales and then ended up at Abuelitas in Bernalillo for breakfast. These 88 second videos really do not do justice to the event.
