I thought the Governor was dedicating additional resources to fixing this issue a while back, but it's impossible to get through on 505-841-2000 or 841-4000... both are either busy ALL DAY LONG or get the message "Due to high call volume, all available phone lines are in use." It goes on to instruct to logon the internet to file the claim, but I am locked out there, and that system is crap.
I'm sure I am not the only one...any one have a suggestion?

Yes.
The best thing to do is drive to the UI office on 400 Broadway and register in person! They only have a few people to tend to all of the citizens of Albuquerque. Yep, a handful of government employees to take care of a city with over half a million citizens. I wonder if there will be delays and bottlenecks? Naaah.
That's government efficiency at its best, no?
And the government wants to control your health care. Just think of that nightmare!

Hope this helps. Good luck.

That's BULL, man!!!!
What the hell does the government want you to do??? Can't phone them... can't register online... can't register IN PERSON... Maybe if you climb to the top of your roof and send out smoke signals, they may respond.
Dude, if you cannot get through to the UI office in person, then I really am at a loss for you.
Just try it again online again. To RE-certify, from what I understand, you just follow the instructions on the web page. I know someone who had done that and got the, "Ineligible for Funds" message, but I think they are still accepting them, IIRC.
I really don't know and I hate to just throw things at you, man. But that's all I know.
You might try going back to the UI office and explain very nicely that you are unable to recertify online because of ..... Hopefully, you will get a kind soul that will help you. If not, go to lunch and go back and don't go to the same person. If that doesn't work, ask for a supervisor. Good luck!
You're doing a good job here, but TiaDalma still has you beat with the smilies.
Her middle name is "Georgia" don't ya know?
No new posts since March, though. I don't know why.
