There are also, believe it or not, areas in Massachusetts where the education is poor, even though we are renowned for our phenomenal educational systems at all levels. I am hard-pressed to believe that there is any state that does not have an area where education needs improvement.

My wife and I are hoping to move from NJ to Albuquerque in one more year. I'm a high school teacher and she just became a nurse. I have heard bad things about the schools, but I'm Latino and not scared of working in a tough school. As for finding a good school for my kid, I'm sure that there are areas with great schools. If the parents are active and supportive of education, then the schools are usually good.
