I'll have to check it out.

The obsession is hereditary. My mother collects the vintage felt pixies ( knee huggers ) and has close to 400 of them.

For those of you who don't mind traveling.... Moriarty FFA (which also includes the FFA members from Edgewood Middle) has four lots going up this year- Moriarty (open space next to 66/41 junction, I think) Edgewood (possibly next to WalMart) Tijeras (a church on the main road, sorry don't know the name) and in the Santa Fe/Eldorado area they're hoping to be in the lot next to the cafe across from the entrance to Eldorado.
I haven't bought a live tree in years, but from what they say prices will be very reasonable.
I'll post more when I find out the definite locations and prices.
We may have to do a live one this year, I can't seem to find the pole to our tree. Wherever it is, i'm sure it's hiding out with my belt (lost on the move down here) and my watch (lost on the move to our new house).

RRR Thanks for the heads up. I was about to buy an artificial tree b/c my old one broke two years ago. Maybe I will do fresh this year, esp since we can chop it up and burn it in the fire pit when we are done with it.

Default fresh doesnt always mean fresh christmas tree

As I shopped this year for the perfect christmas tree I went to several places to look. I found lots of trees at lowes and home depot but they were still bound up and laying on the concrete. Couldnt really tell what it was. I went around to a few private lots and found the trees were in better shape and than I went back to Just Sprinklers and found they keep there trees in water the day they arrive on the truck. They told me they had just received 250 trees on december 8th so I picked out my tree and cant wait to put it up and decorate. Kids are excited too. Good luck in finding the perfect tree. So far I have excellent service from Just Sprinklers and I even got a free cup of hot chocalate and bischochitos!!!

I saw 5 to 6 foot blue spruce trees at Lowes today for $30...

They had a large selection.
