Burgers are great but the fries are even better. Totally greasy but in a super good way.

We went past a Five Guys in north Dallas last week when we were there. My son in law said they are a national chain with great burgers, but I had never heard of them before that.

I guess I would try them if I were down in ABQ, but then again -- there are so many great places there -- maybe not. I would only go if they served green chile.

I guess I will stick with Bobcat Bite in Santa Fe.

5 Guys is spectacular.

I would NEVER eat McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's etc if 5 Guys were an option.

I wish I still lived in Albuquerque so I could enjoy it.

If it IS better than In and Out Burger I'll definitely give the place a try when they open the next time I visit friends in Edgewood!

I found Five guys highly overrated...its was fine. In N' Out is good, not spectacular. Five Guys is simply fine. Blakes is so unique that it is special. Whether you love it or not, its in a world of its own. Griffs...that places is pretty damn good too.

me too, I wish I could try one cause I would love to see how they compare with InnOut if nothing else.

Funny how subjective food can be, like you, we rarely eat fast food burgers (I do like Burger K once in awhile) but I love InnOut but we didn't like Blakes at all when we lived in NM>

They used to have Five Guys Burgers in the VA and MD area. They were pretty good, at least they were 10 years ago. I really like a good burger, and Jack-In-The-Box does not create one....

I have a friend on Facebook that LOVES 5 guys; she's in Ohio. Never had their food myself. There is even a Facebook group for it..LOL

My what an influx of new restaurants we have coming in isn't it?

Thanks for the tip on the fries. Because of my new religious beliefs I cannot eat meat that is non-Halal, but I can eat fries and I LOVE them So are they even better than McDonalds?
