I'm hoping that the new Wal-Mart won't increase traffic too much on 550, I don't think it will, since it's going to be more in the Rio Rancho area (though still technically in Bernalillo) on 528, but still the traffic situation does not look good with the Wal-Mart coming in. Of course, no doubt the traffic on 528 will increase to some degree, which is annoying since I take it nearly every day.

The Bernalillo Wine Festival is the biggest in the state. I went to it a number of times when I used to live in Placitas, a few mile east in the mountains. I always thought of it as a nice down to earth type of town. No pretensions but know how to have a good time. I liked it.

The wine festival is fun ... but the quality of wine is not that great.

After a couple of glasses who cares? Sounds like fun. NM is great for fun events like that. Not that many here and the weather makes it hard to enjoy anyway. I can't wait to be there.
