Check out Murray's cheese Shop website. They have lots of really great cheeses from around the world, some best paired with different wines, and some best paired with beers and ales.

Beer = During the sping = CRAWFISH!!!
= Off season chips and cheesy dips! Yum! Crawfish dip, corn dip, captain rodney's, all yum.

Wine = cheese on crackers or cheese on fruit!..and the real deal cheese...not the kind that melt nicely into my cheesy dips! ha!

I feel that eating food while drinking alcoholic beverages ruins the taste of the alcoholic beverages.

Therefore I eat before, then wait at least 10 min before imbibing.

I rarely drink beer, except in college (3/2 in Colorado) I have never been a lover of the stuff, but my wine and me; we go almost everywhere together. I love any kind of cheese with it or just plain old fashion onion soup dip and chips.

Sometimes:
chips and salsa
cheese - sharp cheddar or white Vermont [or is that Vermont white?]
jalapeño cheese or the poppers
calamari [altho I prefer it grilled, not fried]
cocktail shrimp
