I am trying to nurse a glass of red wine: daughter and son in law are coming over for dinner in about 12 hour and I don't want to be smashed before they get here. It is hard cause the weather sucks and it is a perfect afternoon to guzzle wine. If it were winter we would have the fireplace going. No, it isn't really cold, but jsut so wet and damp it seems like fireplace weather.

I just discovered this, and it is outstanding.

I'm in southern Minnesota... not sure how national Summit, out of St. Paul, is (or isn't).

Sitting out back, keeping an eye on the grill. Drinking a Red Stripe while I do.

After a long break, a nice vodka and tonic with lime, after a full day in the sun. Tolerance is apparently down, I'm a cheap date.

As soon as I get a few things ready for dinner and get the fridge cleaned enough I can see what is in it, I will be ready for a glass of decent wine: weekends is good wine, weekdays is budget wine.

btw: even noticed how much more active this tread is on weekends?

Waiting for dinner-the husband is grilling. I am listening to Gram Parsons and drinking a Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. Say that three times!
