I have been drinking it straight any glass over crushed ice, sipping it slowly ...nothing added no mixed drinks with it... just Canadian whiskey over ice
Which one do you have? My favorite Crown Royal is the Royal Harvest Rye.

Try Forty Creek.

Will likely sip the Forty Creek tonight alongside my Black Cellar Whisky Oak Aged Shiraz Cabernet.

Another is J.P. Wiser's, different varieties. I've had the Triple Barrel.

I did not like the Crown Royal apple whisky. Too much like drinking bad apple cider. Goodvthing I bought a small bottle
Thanks for letting me know. I wondered about the apple. I sometimes buy the Crown Royal maple whisky as a gift. It's nice for an occasional treat, but not something you want to drink all the time.

Tonight will probably be Highland Brewery's Cold Mountain Ale. IMO, it's one of the best winter warmer styles in the country. The release in Asheville is always a big deal and distribution is very limited. It's usually all gone by Christmas, but I found four more twelve packs last month, and another at a fairly low traffic grocery store this weekend.

Tequila shots. It’s cold here. Lick, down it, suck. One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, FLOOR.

The Jim Beam apple tastes like green apple -- pretty good if you like sweet stuff. They flavor it with liqueur so it's pretty dessert-y.

I've got my usual Megadeth beer with clamato for the Superbowl plus Unibroue's Blonde de Chambly if I want something without clamato!

Tonight I'm going to try to make a better Bees Knees. Tried it last week and wasn't impressed. Spoke to a very well-known local bartender and he told me to mix my honey syrup 2:1 instead of 1:1 just for this drink. Can't wait to try it out.
