Thirty or so years ago, there was a liquor store in my neighborhood (in Michigan) that sold both green and yellow chartreuse.

Since then I've lived in Texas and Wisconsin. Once in a blue moon I see green chartreuse in a bar (usually attached to a fancy restaurant) and have found it in one or two liquor stores. I haven't seen a bottle of yellow in all that time. I enjoy the green as occasional treat.

The Chartreuse web page states that yellow is still being produces (Chartreuse.fr). Has anyone here seen it for sale is a US liquor store in the past year?

Spec's, a big liquor store store chain in Texas, carries both the 110 proof Green Chartreuse, and the 80 proof Yellow Chartreuse.

When i was a bartender I used to make a 5 layer Pousse Cafe after dinner drink with Green Chartreuse on top. It was very flashy, and always got me a good tip.
