i am just trying to get a good perception of how often people drink around me for no particular reason than boredom. are you a weekend lush? occasional 2 beer quitter? morning bloody mary slammer? whatever, i don't judge. and for the non-drinkers of the forum, leave your judgment at the door.
it varies for me, i've been on a dry spell. in the last six weeks, i've drank maybe once. i usually drink every friday. the pole doesn't specify how much you drink when you do, so explain yourself in the thread. usually, when i drink, i go for it...
don't complain about the poll choices either. if you don't like it, don't vote. i'm not a professional statistician so leave it alone.

I voted "I don't drink" and I'm here because my actual liquor consumption is not on your poll. The last drink I had was June 16, 2012 at the reception when my niece got married, the drink I had before that was New Years Eve 2010. So my consumption does not fall into any of your categories exactly. We don't drink weekly, monthly, yearly or even at all special occassions, before New Years Eve 2010 we had not had a drink since October 13, 2006 which is the day we got married and we had a beer with supper to celebrate.

I drink occasionally, mostly for special social events, but I do have a couple a month. But we do have beer and hard cider in our fridge now, I just had one yesterday for the heck of it. My husband has a beer each day. I still have extremely low tolerance (LOL) so I have to watch it.
I have a glass of wine with dinner every night. And usually one while making dinner. And sometimes one after dinner.
And on weekends when I go out I switch to vodka/tonic and Limon/diet coke or Capt./diet coke. Or sometimes beer. Or sometimes all of the above.
I like to drink after work mostly. Usually drink a 6 pack maybe 3 times a week. I like to get buzzed when I drink, I don't intend to stop at just 2-3 drinks, otherwise I might aswell go and get a soft drink or juice.
Only on the weekends, between work, the gym, callouts for work, there is zero time to have a proper drink during the week.
