As others have said, whiskey doesn't really go "bad", the taste just changes.

Reminds me of someone who was asking on another forum whether an opened bottle of Jim Beam from 1970something would taste better due to its age... Remember folks, once it's bottled, it doesn't "age". It just gets old.

The age on the label refers to how long it was in a barrel before it was bottled. The aging process stops when it is bottled.

And as previously mentioned, it can keep indefinitely in the bottle when stored correctly.

i have 8 PM classic rareblend of indian whisky & schotch whisky packed bottle maf. date 08/2004 but some unwanted parasitical are generated in the packed bottle. where i can complaint or what i should do?

the high alcohol content would destroy any bacterial growth, as it already inhibits many things, including my ability to drive on saturday nights
