on a few occasions, i have. they were special occasions where i was either on vacation or during a holiday or a crazy house party. it has been rare though. many times during the summer on my days off, i would commit to waiting until noon for whatever reason. have you drank in the morning before? do you drink in the morning? no judgmental posts, please...this is an alcohol forum. don't like it? don't visit

feel free to list what you drink in the morning if you have. whether it be bloody maries, mamosas, screwdrivers, leftover beers, or other.

Yes:

a) If I've been up drinking all night
b) If I were having a mimosa at breakfast
c) If I were tailgating at a Cleveland Browns game
d) If it were St. Patrick's Day

Yes, I've drank in the morning. Don't do it often, but sometimes it's fun to do when you don't have any commitments.

Yes, we'll have bloodies once in a while even if it's not quite noon. AND we've drunk at football tailgate parties, or had mimosa or champagne at a brunch.
Have never rolled out of bed and grabbed a drink for no good reason though.

a few times in college - liquor with sweet junk in it
a dozen or so NFL tailgates - beer
Maybe a drink on a vacation...likely beer

I came close on my last vacation, but I think it was just past noon. I wanted to get a run in, so that delayed my first mixed drink of the day...I probably only had 2-3 throughout that day though.

When I went on a cruise in my 20s, we drank tropical mixed drinks from morning till night.
But normally, I can't stomach alcohol in the morning, even in my crazy college drinking days.
Maybe an occasional bloody Mary, if I'm at some sort of brunch event. Can't stand mimosa; tastes like orange juice that's gone bad.
I'm mostly a wine drinker, but to me, wine never seems attractive in the morning. I think I'd gag.

Brunch, bachelor party, saturday with nowhere to go and nothing to do. Sure. There is nothing wrong with drinking while the sun is up... or barely just up. So long as you're able to function and/ or you have nothing to do, I don't see what the issue is. Hell, I eat breakfast for dinner all the time!

More times than I can count and for a variety of reasons: some to do with partying, some to do with football, some to do with vacations, some just because I felt like it.
