Are Blue Nun and Black Tower still made? I drank quite a bit of those in the 70's and early 80's. Haven't seen them lately.

That is what we drank in college. I have seen Blue Nun recently but the bottle has changed. I will have to look for Black Tower the next time I am in a liquor store.

In my mind Blue Nun goes along with Zeller Schwartze Katz.

Blue Nun was a Liebfraumilch, which we called Leapfrog Milk.

LOL. We drank a lot of Lambrusco when we were under age. It was fizzy!

I don't think I have had Blue Nun since the 70s but we used to enjoy it. Now, I have gone to a little dryer (much dryer) wines and ones with a little more character...

Boones Farm was what we splurged on in high school. The everyday wine was made in someone in the neighborhood's basement. Supposedly, they were different fruit wines but they tasted the same to me.
