Everything whiskey here. What whiskies do you like? Which don't you enjoy? What are some great value picks? Favorites? Been to a distillery before?

I have been reading the whisky advocate blog and they have been giving out their annual awards including best america, canadian, irish, speyside, islay, etc.. Give it a gander:

I have had the blue hanger and it's great (best malt blend). Cheers.

Black Velvet Canadian Whiskey here! Smooth as silk (I like a shot or two of it straight after spending time out in the snow).

I'll have a doubleshot of Fireball here and there (better than that Hot Damn cinnamon garbage by a mile), but, generally speaking, no dark liquor for me.

Jameson is decent. Light and smooth stuff. Not too many flavors to chase in there but if your doing shots that's probably a good thing.

Canadian Club is my whiskey of choice. I guess that aside from simply liking it, I have a loyalty to it since it's been brewed in my city from the get go.

Canadian club is a good value whiskey. I've noticed they've come out with a few more versions of late. Like the reserve and sherry cask. Haven't had them but they look interesting.

I am big a fan of CC when I want to get whiskey, or anything liquor.

Ive also enjoyed Yukon Jack and Ive dipped cigar tips in Crown Royal. It may sound gross but its just a quick dip on the mouth piece and the CR taste mixes in with the cigar smoke.
