Founders Breakfast Stout is some pretty crazy ****. Imagine if you spilled your latte in a stout and that's kinda the idea here. I'm not a huge stout person either but it is very interesting stuff. If you love espresso and stouts then this would be a dream come true.

I've found it in bottles once since December. I see it on tap more often than bottles.

Sorry to bump an old thread...my favorite IPA lately though is Pyramid Outburst Imperial IPA. Strong and easy to drink. I tried a Founders Centennial IPA yesterday...another good IPA.

Yep, but boy is Founders expensive! I don't think it's significantly better than the cheaper IPAs I get around here like Sweetwater, Lagunitas and Pyramid. Same reason why I don't buy Stone.

I bought a bunch of bombers on the 4th to share and there was one major surprise on the negative side. I bought Avery Maharaja (Imperial IPA) and thought it was terrible. It tasted what i imagine hot sweaty feet would taste like, I had about two ounces and gave the rest away. I had heard great things about it and just could not stomache it. My line up was:

Firestone Wookey Jack
Three Floyds Artic Panzer Wolf
Lagunitas Lucky 13
Ballast Point Big Eye IPA
and the Avery steaming pile of yuck
