I'm not sure if there is a craft brew renaissance going on or if its an IPA renaissance going on (maybe both). Either way I'm happy. Indeed my favorite style is IPA and there are some great ones out there. A few of mine:

Firestone walker union jack ipa: creamy and very well balanced. The hops are assertive but not overly bitter.
I think its bottled at 7.5% abv.

Racer 5: For a while this was my favorite. Real creamy, hoppy nose that smells very piney with some grapefruit. Powerful stuff at about 8%abv.

Lagunitas hop stoopid. I love this stuff. It's very viscous, almost like its slightly gelatinized (in a good way). very floral with some honey and pine notes.

Any others?

Green Flash IPA out of Cali is great, as are the Widmer seasonals, like their x-114, Shaddock, and Falconer's. These beers make me crave cooler weather!

I enjoy the Racer 5 as well along with their Hop rod rye.

Big fan of the Hop stoopid as well as other Lagunitas products (IPA, Brown Sugga, Maximus, Sucks, Little Sumpin Sumpin)

Stone had a real good one with their 12-21-12 end of the world beer.

Yah. Hop Rod Rye is great! Powerful flavor.

Hop stoopid is amazing too. I love the color and viscousity of it along with the nose/flavor.

I haven't had the 12-21-12 but I heard good things about it. I love a great beer.

Man there are so many good craft IPAs now. A few of my favorites are...
Monkeynaut (Straight to Ale; Huntsville, AL)
Loose Cannon (Heavy Seas; Baltimore, MD)
Two Hearted Ale (Bell's)

I absolutely love Two Hearted. Might be my favorite beer, period, of any style.
