Does anyone else like Milwaukee's Best?

As far as cheap beer goes, I'd take a cold Premium 'Beast' over a Keystone Light or a PBR anyday!

What's your opinion of the 'Beast'?

Well, see, I have a problem with that premise.

Many years ago I loved a little bar on Venice Beach where I could get a really good glass of imported beer and sit outside on their patio and watch the sunset.

On the wall in the bar was a banner, which I took very much to heart. It read:
"Life is too short to drink cheap beer."

OpenD - What if you didn't have the money for the expensive beer? I usually don't.

When I do have the money, I like Corona or Stella.

And, I agree, graterdaze.

Decent cheap beer. On the other hand, PBR tastes great when cold. In all honesty, I'm kind of in a "retro" phase now enjoying some of the cheap classics.

In beer, the opposite of cheap is not expensive... the opposite of cheap is good. And unless you're just after the ABV, a few good beers are more satisfying than a lot of cheap beers.

You could aim higher. Those were both in the cheap beer category for years, until they became trendy.

i found out that the difference between a "cheap" six pack and a "good" six pack is only a difference of a few bucks. a six pack of bud light, miller light, coors, etc. is roughly $5.99-$6.99. and the AVERAGE craft beer/good beer six pack is $7.99-$9.99...the hard part is keeping yourself from buying A LOT of "good" six packs...

It's swill, like all beer produced on a mass scale. I'd sooner drink water.

I'd rather pay twice as much and drink half the beer in order to have quality brews. That's logic...alcohol logic.
