I am getting tired of the Pabts. Financially I am in a bad spot, but after a while I broke down and ordered some wood chucks. What are you gonna do?

Hang out once or twice a month with family/friends that can afford it.

Start drinking hard liquor...you can get a cheap bottle of rum or vodka for under $10 and some 2 liters for ~$1 per bottle. It will last a lot longer than beer.

Mouthwash at Albertsons is almost straight alcohol, almost like Everclear, but cheaper. I always wondered why the bums by our store had such great breath.

I am not a rum drinker, but way back in college hubby worked for a liquor one summer. His boss, the owner, said, when mixing it with something, any vodka tastes the same, there is no reason to buy "top of the line". We have always bought cheap unless we are entertaining and making martinis.

cheap vodka is definitely fine if you're mixing it anyway. But if you're a beer drinker, Busch Light & Keystone Light are cheap, and aren't too bad.

I dont know what wood chucks are. I also dont know if this is a joke thread or not, but if you have no money for drinks you have no money for tips so stay out of bars. If you do go out, get familiar with the area bars daily/weekly specials and follow the sales. Also, seek out "set-up" bars where you can bring your own bottle. At home, vodka and chocolate milk make a passable white Russian. Also, tequila and lemonade is suprisingly refreshing

Save your pennies until you can afford something decent to drink! I'd rather go without for awhile than drink crap.

When I was toeing the ''broke'' line I developed a taste for ice cold Mickeys malt liquor. Get it from the back of the cooler (it's colder there) and chug it. If you're too embarassed to buy that, you can just get the trailer park version-- Icehouse or Natural Ice. It's virtually the same stuff. Out of all the cheap 6% malt liquor, ales, whatever you want to call them, those 3 are the best and will keep you buzzing while you're broke. The Busch, Natural Light, Keystone, etc tallboys will just pis you off.

If you're absolutely hardcore, you can get a 99 cent 24 oz Steel Reserve 211, but be warned-- you will burp fire!! Those are just nasty.
