Folks, today is the 80th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition.

I think I'll celebrate this momentous day with a glass or three of wine tonight!!
(But then why would it be any different than any other day..)

I remember being in Boston and taking a picture outside the 21st Amendment bar. I wonder what their drink specials are tonight? 80 cent beers maybe?

I bet our founders wouldn't have guessed that almost 12% of our amendments written after our countries founding would have dealt with alcohol either.

Finally, I like the wording of the 21st amendment too. Basically saying forget everything we said about the 18th.
