I like "the beer that's free". Starts with a really good argument and if you're lucky, it might even taste good!

We could add to this list,
"The Best Beer You Ever Had", and it is often not the beer that was so memorable, as the place, people, time. ..the best beer I ever had was last summer, I promised myself a cold beer after I was done with yard work, four hours of hot, sweaty, yard work. I thought about that beer...when I was finally done, showered, on the deck, with that ice cold long neck--it had been in the cooler on ice the whole time..and there was a steak on the barbeque, that was an awesome beer!

True. Best beer I ever had was watching SCCA races at the Portland International Speedway in Portland Oregon. The beer was standard Bud, and it was seriously iced. The temperature was near 100 and dry. With all the fast cars passing, the weather, and REALLY cold beer, it was like ambrosia. Change the scenario and I don't think Bud would be that awesome.

Very true!

My favorites:

1/ Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, been drinking this since my college days at UCLA, when it was still a microbrew and was not distributed nationwide.
2/ Widmer Hefeweizen
3/ Anchor Steam
4/ Blue Moon
5/ Guinness Stout

For inexpensive beers, I love Coors or a Coors Light or a Tsingtao. I think Heineken is very overrated.

Very true beer list that is, but put a Dale's Pale Ale on your palate.........you'll enjoy it. And it comes in a can, suppose a can is probably a better seal.
