Anywhere from 65 calories (don't know if I can call this a beer) to 200. I like a Coors Light or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale usually and the Sierra has more calories, it also has a more full bodied taste.
Oh, please post it when you think of it. That seems like something fun to add to labels for home brew.
It is something like the constant for ethanol (6.9 grams) times the ABW + the constant for carbs per gram (4.0/g) x ?-0.1 x Final Gravity.
So, it is (6.9g * ABW) + 4.0/g(?-0.1) * FG. I'll try and figure out what the ? is. Also, you need to convert the FG into oz. since that is what we use in America. I believe FG = oz. of beer/mL of beer, but the constant that can be used is 3.5.
(6.9 * ABW) + 4.0/g(?-0.1) * FG * 3.5
I also cannot remember if it is ABV or ABW....now I'm thinking ABW since the units will cancel out.
I used this site to find out what Beer can I drink without making my Blood Sugar go up because I'm a Diabetic.
According to many studies I've read, vodka is a far better choice for diabetics than beer, because beer contains carbohydrates in addition to the alcohol, while vodka does not. And drinking vodka can lower blood sugar.
