So you won't even try another style of beer because it's not a macro? Whose really the snob here? It's a low-brow snobbery of ignorance.....but it's still being a snob.

I brew my own beer, have done for almost 10 years. I drink any new beer that comes to me unless they have the words "craft beer" on the label. Just from my experience of people who craft beer this craft beer that theyre boring. Just shut up and enjoy a good beer as far as I am concerned.

I brew my own too. Generally, craft breweries are defined by the amount of beer they make. It was limited to 2M BBL/year, but was recently raised to 6M BBL/year so that Sam Adams wouldn't be taken off the list. I don't buy much beer, and what I buy is usually to compare to something I have made myself. However, I can't imagine passing up a good beer because it had the word "Craft" in the name.

If you know anything about brewing you wouldn't ask about craft beer definitions. It's a craft beer based on creation, innovation and success. Craft breweries have their own styles, recipes and innovations. Some succeed some fail, all in good fun.

A Microbrewery is defined legally as a brewery that brews >15,000 bbs/year and at least 75% of the product is sold off-premises.

A Brewpub is not legally a Microbrewery since most of their sales are on premises. However, a microbrewery may have an onsite Tasting room or Tap room that functions like a Brewpub.

A Craft brewery is a brewery producing >6 million bbs/year and has an all-malt flagship product.

A microbrewery can be a craft brewery, but not all craft breweries are microbreweries.
