Thanks No pretense at all (I would have gone with some of the totally obscure cocktails from the bars around me if I was going for pretense).

If you've never had a Boulevardier you should definitely try it, that will definitely dispel any doubts.

I think I have a new favorite cocktail. Just got back from Au Cheval in Chicago (where I had arguably the best burger in the nation) and I had a Daiquiri for the first time. A Hemingway Daiquiri actually. It was delicious and after just two I realized also quite strong.
