Just wondering what everyone's favorite vanilla vodka is. Looking to try some new ones out there. I usually have it straight on the rocks.

My opinions so far:
Absolut - Second favorite. Can taste a little "dry" sometimes. It's also 80 proof vs. 70 for most flavored vodkas
Smirnoff - tastes too sweet/sugary to me
Pinnacle - tastes like its watered down
Stoli - probably my favorite.

I occasionally see VanGogh on the shelf but have never tried it.
Does Grey Goose make a vanilla vodka? If so, never seen it here in PA, though PA has a limited selection of everything.

I make my own. I make vanilla extract too. Absolute is my first choice when I am out.

I tried making my own with vanilla extract and it was a disaster. I could not get the mixture amount right. Just curious how much extract you'd put in for a 750ml bottle of plain vodka.

Don't make vanilla vodka with vanilla extract...get yourself a vanilla pod and let it seep until it gets to a level you like.

Extract is made the same way...just more pods to less alchol.
