I love them--I always make mine with V8. I love some of the over the top garnishes, too. I even got some of these-- Benny's Bloody Mary Beef Straws - Benny's OMS

I would garnish that with some nice big cold shrimp.

Lol! My first reaction is "ew!" but I'm trying to keep an open mind. So, you've tried them and you like them?

So it's like beef jerky. Hmmm...I prefer the pickled vegetables with my bloody mary. If I have beef with tomatoes it's going to be a burger.

It looks like a hollowed-out Slim Jim.

I've never had a bloody mary, but they sound super similar to a Mexican michelada because of the ingredients. If they taste close to that then I probably will like it!

I only drink once a year, on my birthday, and it's always a bloody Mary. I never made one myself but I know they contain tomato juice, vodka, and usually have a celery stick. (Since my birthday is in summer, if it's a very HOT day, I may even have two bloody Mary's.

I think what I like about them is that I don't like the taste of liquor but vodka doesn't have much/any? taste. So it just tastes like tomato juice spiced up a bit--and you get tipsy enough that you don't even realize that you're a year older!

LOL--I bet someone swirled their Slim Jim around in their bloody mary and sucked the drink off before biting into the stick, and an idea was born.

Love them.

If you're buying a mix, Zing Zang is the only way to go. Honestly, I think it is better than most of the "homemade" Bloody Marys I have had. It is fantastic. I won't buy anything else anymore.

they are awesome. and I don't even feel guilty about drinking them because I use low sodium v8 as a mixer at home. and this bar about three blocks from my crib has $3 bloody mary drinks from 2-4pm on weekends.
I like them very spicy and usually with breakfast or brunch.
