I can enjoy wine with dinner. Used to only like rose' or white zinfandel but then a friend served white and red with dinner and I learned to like Chiraz for red and Pino Grigio for white.

Don't like beer with food. Not with a burger or pizza or anything. I would rather just drink soda or have a mixed drink with food. To me drinking beer with food makes the food taste worse.

I disagree big time. Nothing goes with pizza quite as well as an Octoberfest or an Irish Red ale. Summer ales pair up nicely with seafood, IMO.

I like to order warm pretzels with stone-ground mustard for dipping when we get beers at our favorite brewpub.

I also think beer goes well with wings.

I might like pretzels with beer because it's more of a snack food, but not wings with beer.

But I do like beer battered onion rings

I find beer to be refreshing with spicy foods, hence liking it with wings. We also often get Indian beers to accompany spicy curries and the like at Indian restaurants.

Totally depends on the beer. Some strong heady stuff goes great with a ham and cheese sandwich smothered in a strong mustard.

I usually drink wine with food. I certainly don't think beer makes food taste worse. I drink beer sometimes, but it can be too filling for me while I'm eating. But, yeah, pizza definitely calls for a big pitcher of beer.
