Will you change your beer buying habits after Belgian brewer InBev takes over Anheuser-Busch?

Possibly. I can't stand Budweiser beer but the Belgian beer I've tried (Fat Tire) is quite good. So, if the Belgians improve the taste of Anheuser-Busch's products, I might actually buy them!

Nope. Milwaukees Best now. Milwaukees Best forever. You can keep that high-end, upscale stuff. It tastes terrible.

Count me in with the Belgian fans, if AB starts brewing beers that taste like some of the Belgian monastery brews I might actually buy some.

Who would rink Budweiser? To qoute an old Monty Python skit: "American beer is like having sex in a canoe: It's f***ing close to water."

Growing up, I often heard my father oh so eloquently refer to American beer as pis* water. When I tasted it myself, I certainly didn't think it tasted good at all. Then, I moved to the PNW and had really good beer for the first time in my life. Well, that's when I truly understood why he called American beer pis* water. I was delighted when he visited me in Seattle and I could introduce him to the microbrews.

So, to answer your question, no, I don't think it will change my buying habits, as I doubt they'll change the recipe.

We wouldn't even steam crabs in "milwaukee's Best"...that is some rank "lets just get some alcohol into our bodies no matter what" stuff.

Usually Molson or Labatts... or Samuel Adams... a toss up for regular beer.. I like St. Andrews the best.

Oh dh drinks that stuff. Whenever we go someplace that sells it. He offers me a sip or two and frankly, it really almost makes me hurl. It's so bitter and had a terrible aftertaste like you have been licking envelopes. I have tried them all - Wheats, Lagers, etc. I cannot see the attraction to drinking something that tastes like it comes out of a horse trough. Maybe it is an acquired taste, like artichokes or escargot, but it is not a taste I think I could ever get used to, let alone enjoy.

I like my beer light and a little sweet maybe, with no after-taste. Milwaukee's Best is quite nice, actually. I will drink the occasional Busch or MGD when I am going for the "high dollar" beer but it seems kind of silly to me to pay $4 for a glass of something you are just going to pee out in an hour anyway LOL.
