My neighbors are Larry and Helen. Absolutely the world's best possible neighbors. They treat me like family and are unbelievably helpful and friendly...clearly genuine people.
They are my parent's age 64/65 (my mother just turned 65 and my real father will be 66 in April) and Larry's son is my age and his daughter just a couple of years younger than me.
When I'm sitting with them at their house in their sunroom with the pellet stove on high and all of us chatting, Helen will often ask "Would you like a glass of wine?" Of course I say yes and she always comes back with an enormous glass the size of a beaker full almost to the brim with a sweet red wine.
First time I got looped and got the giggles.
Next time I made a joke about drunk driving home 100 yards

They laugh and laugh and are a lot of fun to be around.

In this order:
Water (lots of it throughout the day - first thing in the morning and last thing at night - just a habit))
Coffee - black and not Starbucks
Red Wine - there is nothing like an exquisite tasting bottle of red wine.

I don't drink during the week (only because if one goes down good, then too many will). I always drink when I go out to dinner. I figure if I'm spending money already, might as well go all out! I usually have a margarita on the rocks, or a beer-preferably Blue Moon with orange slice, or I will settle for a Corona. I like white wine-but only one particular brand, so I unfortuantely never get to drink that outside of my house.

If I go to a bar, it's always beer. Cheaper than anything else, it is!

I took a bottle of Kendall Jackson Cabernet Sauvignon 1999 vintage to my neighbor's house last night... it was delicious!

A strong Irish tea in the morning.
Horchata with Mexican food.
A pot of black coffee on a Sunday morning.
A glass of red wine late at night with the woman I love.
An ice cold beer on a hot summers day.
Hot chocolate with the kids in the snow.
Water from a stream on a long hike.
Milk with a PBJ sandwich.
A spicy V8 after work.

...and a toast to good health.
