I got all the drinking out of my system in the Navy (not that we drink in the Navy!!) So, I answered none of the above.

But... if I really did have to go to the liquor store, it would probably be for Bailey's to pour over ice.

like skbs said depending of the occasion...with a nice dinner try wines...Pinot noir or Savignon Blanc are great starter...for beer...any ambre, white ale or porter is you like that coffee or malt flavor...for mixed drinks I'll never finish... Tequila...u can make margaritas...Rum for mojitos...Vodka for cosmopolitan...Gin...not to crazy about gin but tried with orange juice... just enjoy make sure you have good friends around when you drink... Just in case...

When I go to the liquor store it is usually to buy Smirnoff Ice or something similar. I also like Mudslides, Long Island Ice Tea, Sex on the Beach (w/a blanket) not sure what is in those, but it is yummy, Mimosas and of course Miller, Sam Adams and Bud. With dinner I'll sometimes have a glass of white wine. I prefer white wine or a blush wine.

But of course, all in moderation!!!

We keep a supply of bourbon (Ancient Age) and vermouth for manhattans. We also try to keep a variety on hand for guests..vodka, scotch, rum, tequila, and some red and white wine. Not many beer drinkers around here, but we keep a few in the fridge for company.

I dislike beer, both the taste and the uncomfortable results. I prefer Meyer's Rum, Bailey's, Jack Daniel's, and Crown, depending on my mood, the temperature, the company, etc. Wine is ok; I 've had some good merlots and whites, but I prefer fruity wines like blackberry.

Wine tops the list for me at home. However, on vacations, I'll take a Corona.
