I have always wanted to make my own liquor and beer but just haven't got around to so. I was just wondering how much work it would be. Because I love good liquor and love good beer. I would appreciate your assistants. Thank you.

Liquor is easy to make, only is time consuming.

I made cherry, blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry and lemon liquor.

My grandma used to make much more, she used apricot and peaches, walnut and mint and so many other.
Grandpa used to make the alcohol out of grapes and plums.

I tried the Mr. Beer thing to make your own beer. I wouldn't recommend it.
Good luck!

There are some legal issues here in the states with regard to distillation. Fermentation is fine, but distillation is another story.

"You cannot produce spirits for beverage purposes without paying taxes and without prior approval of paperwork to operate a distilled spirits plant. [See 26 U.S.C. 5601 & 5602 for some of the criminal penalties.] There are numerous requirements that must be met that make it impractical to produce spirits for personal or beverage use."

You can get a waiver for fuel ethanol though. It's stupid.

Don't worry about any paper work, for Christs sake. You just want to try it out. Just don't go blab'n it all around town.

You'll find out soon enough that it's better left to the pro's.

Every homemade beer/liquor I've tried tasted like crap. AA should do it and make them drink it, they would quit before they finished the first beer! just a joke

If you try it, go basic and don't get fancy.

Good luck, give the nasty "crap" to your "bad" neighbors. Yes, another joke.

Actually, you can make wine out of Kool-Aid. I showed my son how for a chemistry project in high school. When he was in college, he went to a fancy-smancy wine tasting. He is supposed to have mentioned that his mom made better tasting wine out of Kool-Aid. I wouldn't doubt that he did exactly that! LOL

Wine turns into vinegar if you are not careful. Beer can spoil and get really, really foul.

Wine is fun to make. You can experiment with different fruits. You can even use rice and make Saki.

They will be saying things like, I can't wait to get me some hiney, I have to make a lot of it so there enough hiney to go around. Wow I'm excited. In fact I would love a little hiney right now.
